Details - Home shirt as worn during the first half of the 2001-02 season when the side were looking to defend their La Liga title from the previous season, failing to do so as they finished 3rd in the table, 9 points behind champions Valencia. They did however make it to a couple of cup finals, losing 2-1 against Deportivo La Coruna in the Copa del Rey final before winning their ninth European title, beating Bayer Leverkusen 2-1 in the Champions League final.
